On Discord, there are a few ways to delete messages.
One way is the manual way, by right-clicking on a message and pressing delete, then confirming it.
Another way to do that is with bots. With Mee6, you can use the /clear or !clear command.
There are a few variations for it, so that it’s easier to clear exactly what you want to remove, and in this example, “x” is the number of messages you want to remove:
/clear x [@name].
/clear x to clear the last x messages (/clear 10)
/clear @name to clear all the messages of @name (/clear @MEE6#4876).
If you are not able to use the command, then please make sure the Moderator plugin on the dashboard is enabled.
If you still can’t use it, then please don’t forget to add your role as an allowed role on the dashboard, by pressing on the command, then adding it as an allowed role, and then pressing save. Then, !clear should work.
Additional Troubleshooting:
If you have the /clear command enabled in the Moderator plugin, and you still don't see it, try the following:
Go to the server settings, Integrations, select Mee6 (if you have a Bot Personalizer, then select that bot).
Scroll up and down until you see the command and select the /clear command.
Select the command.
Add your role there, give it permission to use /clear, and press save.
MEE6 needs View messages and Manage Messages or Administrator permissions to be able to clear messages.
