Here is how you can get users to gain roles from a custom command:
1. Go to the Dashboard --> select your server --> go to the Custom command plugin.
2. Press create new custom command -->select "Bot gives a member a role".
3. Select what the role should be, and feel free to change the name of the command by pressing on "!my-new-command" and pressing save.
