MEE6 may not punish users correctly for different reasons.
First of all, MEE6 may not have enough permissions for it, so please check that:
MEE6 can see/type in the channel.
MEE6 can delete the messages from the user.
Then, check that the selected AutoMod Rulesets include the correct actions.
For example, if the selected action is only "Delete Message", the message will be deleted, but no other action will be taken by MEE6. It will not be considered as an Infraction for the Automated Actions.
Only the actions including the "Warn Member" part will be considered as Infractions.
If MEE6 does punish members issuing warnings, but not exactly how you planned it, then please check:
The hierarchy of the punishment, MEE6 always prioritizes the more severe punishments. MEE6 reads the automated actions from the top to the bottom. It means that each action should be placed according to the number of infractions triggering it. The higher the infractions triggering the action, the higher it should be placed at the top.
That the punishment is correct on the dashboard, if they should be only punished for some time, then please make sure that you put it on temp ban or temp mute, instead of the other options.
