This article explains how to change your subscription plan for MEE6's own services — Premium, Pro, MEE6 AI, AI Characters Unlimited, and Web3.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: This article is about subscriptions to MEE6's own services, purchased from MEE6 directly.
If you subscribed to another person's Discord server through MEE6 (a paid role, channel, or benefits), that is a Monetize subscription — it is managed differently. Please see this article instead, which also covers Monetize plan changes.
Lifetime plans are not related to Monetize. Lifetime is a one-time purchase that exists only for MEE6 Premium, MEE6 Pro, and AI Characters Unlimited.
1. Which Subscription Do You Have?
MEE6 services operate independently, and each has its own plans:
MEE6 Premium — server-wide bot plugins. Recurring plans plus a one-time Lifetime plan.
MEE6 Pro — personal perks for your Discord account. Recurring plans plus a one-time Lifetime plan.
MEE6 AI — AI generations, available as Personal or Server-Wide plans with different tiers.
AI Characters Unlimited — server-wide AI Characters. Recurring plans plus a one-time Lifetime plan.
Web3 — available as a monthly plan only, so there are no other Web3 plans to switch to.

2. Premium: Upgrade Your Plan Yourself
Premium plan upgrades (for example, switching from a monthly plan to a yearly or Lifetime plan) are self-service:
Log in at https://mee6.xyz/dashboard with the account purchased the subscription and select your server.
Go to the Premium part of the dashboard and select "Manage your subscription", then press the blue button "Switch plan".
Choose your new plan and complete the checkout.
💡 The self-service tool supports upgrades only. To downgrade your Premium plan, contact our Customer Support (see the next section).
3. Pro, MEE6 AI, AI Characters, Web3: Contact Support
Plan changes for all other MEE6 services — and Premium downgrades — are handled manually by our Customer Support team. You can reach us by one of the following methods:

Please provide:
Your Discord username, the user ID of the account that made the payments, or the email associated with your Discord account;
For server-wide subscriptions (Premium, server-wide MEE6 AI, AI Characters, Web3): the Discord server the subscription is active on and its ID (also called "Guild ID" on our website);
The plan you'd like to switch to;
For upgrades: confirmation that you agree to the additional charges. You won't pay the full price of the new plan — we'll discount the purchase by the prorated amount of unused time on your current plan.
ℹ️ Downgrades are available via support for all services except server-wide MEE6 AI plans, which can only be upgraded. For details on server-wide MEE6 AI upgrades, see How To Upgrade MEE6 AI Plan.
4. Subscriptions Purchased from the Discord Store
If you purchased your MEE6 subscription from the Discord Store directly, plan changes are not possible — such subscriptions are managed entirely by Discord. You can only cancel the subscription (and request a refund) through Discord, as explained in How To Cancel Your MEE6 Subscription.
F.A.Q.
1. Can I switch from a monthly plan to Lifetime?
Yes. Lifetime plans exist for Premium, Pro, and AI Characters Unlimited. For Premium, use the self-service tool described above. For Pro and AI Characters, contact our Customer Support — the upgrade will be prorated, so unused time on your current plan is discounted from the Lifetime price.
2. Is my "Lifetime" or MEE6 subscription part of Monetize?
No. Monetize is a separate product that lets server owners sell access to their own servers. Subscriptions to MEE6 services (Premium, Pro, MEE6 AI, AI Characters, Web3) — including all Lifetime plans — are not Monetize subscriptions. 3. Will I lose the time I've already paid for?
No. Upgrades are prorated — the unused time on your current plan is converted into a discount on the new plan.
4. I want to cancel instead of changing my plan.
