Thanks to our YouTube Alerts plugin, you can configure MEE6 bot to forward new YouTube videos from a YT channel of your choice to your Discord server. With it you can keep up with all the new content from your favourite YouTube channels, or if you are a content creator you can inform your Discord server about your new uploads.
How To add a MEE6 YouTube Alert?
You will need MEE6 premium to be able to use the YouTube Alerts plugin.
Head to Server Dashboard > Social Alerts > YouTube Alerts. Open the plugin page and click "New YouTube channel" button.
Alert Configuration
• YouTube:
Specify the YouTube channel you want to follow.
MEE6 accepts both full links and short links, so https://www.youtube.com/@discord and @discord both work.
MEE6 can also search for YouTube channels based on a keyword. For example, typing 'flowers' will display a list of YT channels with 'flowers' in their names. Please note that any search may take a few seconds for the results to appear.
• Message:
You can edit a message that MEE6 bot will send together with each YouTube alert. Default text pings @everyone.
You can replace it with any other role your server has.
• Channel:
Select the Discord channel where MEE6 should post alerts for this YouTube channel.
