MEE6 Invite Tracker Plugin for Discord

The Invite Tracker plugin helps you monitor how many users each member invited to your server.
It's ideal for boosting community engagement, managing invite-based events, and rewarding active users.

With this plugin, you can:
- Track who invited whom.
- Let users generate their own, unique invite links.
- Display a real-time leaderboard of top inviters.

Plugin Commands

/invites - generates a unique invite link tied to the user. If someone joins using it, the inviter earns +1.

/inviter - identifies who invited a specific user by tracing the used invite link.

/invites-leaderboard - shows a ranked leaderboard of users based on successful invites.

Setup Notes & Limitations

To ensure accurate tracking:
- Only use links generated with the /invites command. Standard Discord links aren't tracked.
- Users must stay in the server for at least 24 hours. If either the inviter or invitee leaves in the first 24 hours, the invite is invalidated.
- Onboarding must be completed. Invitees who haven't finished Discord’s onboarding aren’t counted.
- Avoid browser issues. Some extensions may block tracking. Recommend users join through the Discord app for reliability.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

1. Can I reset or remove invite stats?

No. The plugin currently doesn't support resetting or editing invite stats.
You can suggest features in the MEE6 Support Server under #suggestions.

2. Why aren’t invites being tracked?

Make sure that:
- Invite links are generated with /invites.
- Neither the inviter nor invitee has left the server.
- Onboarding is complete.
- The invite link is used through the Discord desktop or mobile app.

3. Are there delays?

The plugin is generally fast, but Discord API issues or incomplete onboarding may cause delays.
Always double-check that official MEE6 links are used—ones generated by the /invites command.

4. Can browser settings affect tracking?

Yes. Browser extensions or privacy settings may block tracking.
If issues arise, ask users to join via the Discord app instead.

5. Why didn’t an invite count?

Common causes:
- The inviter or invitee left the server.
- A non-MEE6 invite link was used.
- Onboarding wasn’t completed.
- The invite link was used in a browser with blocking extensions.
