Thanks to our Reddit Alerts plugin, you can configure MEE6 bot to forward new Reddit posts from a subreddit of your choice to your Discord server. With it you can keep up with all the new posts in your favorite subreddits, or if you are a content creator you can inform your Discord server about what is happening on your subreddit.
How to add a MEE6 Reddit Alert?
You will need MEE6 Premium to be able to use the Reddit plugin.
Head to your Server Dashboard > Social Alerts > Reddit Alerts. Open the plugin page and click "New subreddit" button.
Alert Configuration
• Subreddit name:
Specify the subreddit you want to follow.
MEE6 accepts both full links and short links, so https://www.reddit.com/r/space/ and r/space both work.
MEE6 can also search for subreddits based on a keyword. For example, typing 'flowers' will display a list of subreddits with 'flowers' in their names. Please note that any search may take a few seconds for the results to appear.
• Embeds:
Choose between wide or compact embeds.
• Post in channel:
Select the Discord channel where MEE6 should post alerts for this subreddit.
Please note: most of NSFW subreddits are not supported and will not be announced.
